Jennie graduated from Auckland University in New Zealand with a Bachelor of Laws in 2004 and worked at various firms and in-house roles as a commercial solicitor.  In 2023,  Jennie relocated to Townsville from New Zealand with her family for the warmth and was admitted as a solicitor in Queensland.
