Cal is a North Queensland local, completing his high school education at Ignatius Park College before graduating with a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business (Accounting) from James Cook University. 

Predominately practicing in commercial and property law, Cal also has a wide range of experience in property and business transactions, succession planning, estate litigation, rural transactions, as well as criminal and regulatory matters.
