Our Director, David Bowers was prior to his time working with Minter Ellison, engaged by the Queensland Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and during his time there, was involved in some of the state’s most highly publicised prosecutions.
After leaving the DPP, David went into private practice and worked in conjunction with one of Queensland’s leading Criminal Lawyers, Chris Nyst, in the firm that later became Minter Ellison – Gold Coast.
David brings a wealth of experience in acting not only for persons charged with criminal offences but also acting for corporate executives who may be facing increasingly severe penalties, fine or imprisonment in areas such as alleged breaches of workplace health and safety laws, environmental laws, and corporate disclosure requirements.
